Come one, come all! Cornets blaze upon the green as midnight blue banners lined in silver flutter in the wind, accompanied by the colors from the other duchies. The early summer sun beats hotly down on those gathered, the cool breeze the only thing that makes the heat bearable as the courtiers wander around in their heavy fabrics, clapping discreetly from the stands as those they favor fight for the glory of being knighted. The commoners gathered on their side hoot and holler loudly, drawing disdainful stares from many, but jealous looks from some who wish they could be just as free.

Coronation
Come one, come all. Through the streets of the Sapphire City parades the king and his court on their way to the abbey where Ambrose Beauchamp will be crowned as the first king of Adesia. Banners flutter in the windows along the main street and the common people crowd around hoping for a glimpse of His Majesty amidst the sea of his many courtiers.

Sapphire Palace
At the very heart of Adesia sits the lands of the newly self-proclaimed King Ambrose, the first king of Adesia. And at the center of that, on the very edge of the Sapphire City is the Sapphire Palace. Construction has finally been completed on the old manor to expand it into a palace (adding more wings and such) and it is a rather busy place with courtiers from the duchies coming to pledge their allegiance to the new king and to bask in his general splendor.

Into the Sapphire City
Banners in all different shades of blue hang along the streets, fluttering in the wind. Visitors from all the duchies mill here, shopping and socializing in this city that has come alive with the arrival of the newly self-proclaimed King Ambrose. The attitude within the city differs from those that approve of the new king, those that hold no opinion... and those that resent his coming.

Pemberton
Having long since been recognized for its extravagance in all things, Pemeberton’s new duke has recently lent a more serious side to matters of the court. Still, the colorful festivals, parades through the streets, statues made entirely from gold decorating the corridors of Roseworth, fireworks displays spanning for hours... these all still occur with a slight but noticeable lack in the depth of such celebration. Pemberton remains a place for beauty and amazement despite these subtle decreases. With its rich fashions, a blend of intrigue and silken treasures, perhaps this is what best defines the lively duchy now. The Sherbourne/Duncan family rules here with their motto of “Loyalty, Honor, Courage.”

Marcheford is the capital of learning within Adesia. Their 'free education' policy makes education possible for commoners and nobles alike. The duchy of philosophers and scholars, the people of Marcheford are constantly searching for veritas, or truth, their ultimate quest. Their capital of Dinley sports the largest and most well-reputed academy across the land. Many nobles send their children here to learn. The Brighton family rules here with their motto of "Veritas - the ultimate quest."

Harleston
Out of all the duchies, Harleston is the most pious. Everyone attends mass every Sunday, alms are regularly given to the poor, charities are common... if one wants a career in the church, to Harleston they should come. The poor are very well cared for in this duchy, especially in the capital of Everbury where hand-outs of food and clothing are regularly given to the needy. The Castyll family rules here with their motto "For the greater good."

The Viridian Sea
Surrounding the island of Adesia, the Viridian Sea stretches out in every direction as far as the eye can see. To the south lies the kingdoms of Soleil - the land of those kings that take on their feminine airs - and Luna - religious fanatics through and through - while to the southeast are the Ladron Islands, known for being the safe ground for ruffians of all walks of life.
